As a very special offer to friends of Pets For the Elderly, we are proud to introduce the first in a series of artist signed and numbered lithographs, available only to those who make donations to Pets For the Elderly.

With a donation of just $25.00, you will have your choice of any of these three limited edition lithographs, each hand-signed and numbered by the artist, Ms. Mardel DeBuhr Sanzotta, who has agreed to create a separate series of animal themed works of art exclusively for Pets For the Elderly. That series, created in a very special giclee format, will be coming soon to the Pets For the Elderly website.

The lithographs below were done by Ms. Sanzotta in 1980, and each had a small limited edition run. They have been donated to us by the artist, and the only place you will find them available is on the Pets For the Elderly website. Since they are limited editions, our quantities are also limited – we have approximately 100 of each lithograph available.

Here’s the best news – you will receive any one of these lithographs with your donation of just $25.00 – you will receive any TWO with a donation of $50.00 – and you will receive all three (or any three of your choice) with a donation of just $70.00! Your lithographs will come to you via Priority Mail, rolled not folded. Please add $5.00 to partially cover the cost of shipping supplies and postage.

And better news – once these lithographs have been completely “sold out,” they will be replaced with a second series of lithographs created from original artwork hand-selected by us from the extensive collection of Ms. Sanzotta’s work.

Here are your Series I selections:

“Jongleur The Clown”

Original limited run of 1,000. Photo area measures 22” x 13”, plus 1” cream matting around litho.
With a small crowd of curious teddy bear onlookers, Jongleur the teddy bear clown is perched precariously on a toy rocking horse while performing a juggling routine. Two sets of momma bears with their baby bears and a family of three bears watch spellbound as Jongleur entertains them with his skills…quite a feat for a teddy bear, don’t you think?

“Say, Fred…”

Original limited run of 850. Photo area measures 22” x 15-1/2”, plus 1” cream matting around litho.
The lazy days of summer drone by as these two sun-weathered cowboys fall into their daily routine…sitting on a bench, watching a few lone souls pass by, one reading a news article to his disinterested and almost-asleep lifetime friend, Fred.

“Recently Retired”

Original limited run of 850. Photo area measures 21” x 15-1/2”, plus 1” cream matting around litho.

On one of her cross-county excursions, our artist spotted this battered and rusting pick-up truck, abandoned in an overgrown field. Voted “collection favorite” by our Pets For the Elderly staff. For nostalgia buffs – or those who are interested in vintage cars or trucks – this haunting and mesmerizing litho would be a focal point of almost any décor

About Our Artist: Mardel DeBuhr Sanzotta

As a self-taught painter with remarkable composition skills, Mardel Sanzotta has mastered a variety of painting media. Versatility, lyricism and poetry are evident in her work.
She was born near the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota, and is influenced by having lived and worked in the Northwest wilderness of Montana, as well as the Midwest of the United States.
Mardel believes that the charm of art lies in the artist’s ability to break down any limitations of medium or skill that might interfere with the goal of visually expressing subtle and moving revelations.
She has conducted painting classes, lectures, and workshops in several states, maintains a full commission schedule, and has had many one-person and group shows, winning awards locally and nationally.
Over 100 major corporations, many of whom are in the field of healthcare, have purchased her work, including Veterans’ Administration Medical Centers, children’s hospitals, and many long-term care facilities. She is the originator of therapeutic three-dimensional art, which has achieved national attention.
Her portraits, wildlife, nature, figural and landscape art can be found in private and corporate collections across the U.S. Many galleries and designers nationwide have sold and represented her work. The Franklin Museum in Philadelphia and the Cleveland Zoo are just two of the many that own her paintings.
